During the day 150 Rayleigh Rainbows and Brownies (and leaders!) enjoyed a variety of STEM activities from bubble blowing to finger printing at the division Science Day. Last weekend 270 young members together with volunteers and Trefoil Guild members had a fun afternoon at Southend West division’s Renewal of Promise. Nearly 150 brownies plus their leaders from across Southend East Division spent a fantastic day exploring Colchester Zoo back in May. Girlguiding Thundersley district had a fantastic day celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee jointly with 2nd Thundersley Scout Group. Benfleet district enjoyed a party to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. They made elephants, crowns, decorated bags, painted stones and bunting to decorate the church and enjoyed refreshments fit for a Queen!
