Rayleigh division Rainbow and Brownie Razzle day

During the day 150 Rayleigh Rainbows and Brownies (and leaders!) enjoyed a variety of STEM activities from bubble blowing to finger printing at the division Science Day. The promised sunny weather didn’t arrive until the day ended but everyone stayed dry, and girls had an amazing time.

Blowing bubbles

Activities included glitter pots, litmus testing, space activities (constellations, craters, and moon walking), constructing atoms and strong bridges, various chemical reactions including lava lamps and working as a team to move a bucket of poisonous weeds!

Moving Bucket

Many, many thanks to the leaders who organised the event and to those who brought their Rainbows and Brownies.
