Girlguiding Thundersley district had a fantastic day celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee jointly with 2nd Thundersley Scout Group. They celebrated with friends and families with afternoon teas, bouncy castles, games, and a barbecue. The day ended  with the lighting of a Beacon. Some wonderful memories made …….        

Benfleet district enjoyed a party to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. They made elephants, crowns, decorated bags, painted stones and bunting to decorate the church and enjoyed refreshments fit for a Queen!

Lots going on at Guideacres in recent weeks! The re-wilding project and the new bug hotel has been completed and is looking beautiful surrounded by spring flowers. And the first piece of the new trim trail is in place!  This was paid for with money from Jack Petchey leader award.

Our county challenge to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is now live!  Complete seven challenges, one for each decade of the Queen’s reign. There are six areas and then the Platinum Challenges that can be completed as a unit, district or division. Badges, at 75p each, can be ordered until 10 September 2022. More information…
