50 Years of the Southend Depot!
The depot which serves the two Southend divisions is now 50 years old. Margaret has been running this highly successful depot throughout this time and has steered it to 19th place of 900 depots across the UK and BGO. Two incredible achievements!
On Saturday volunteers from Southend East and Southend West divisions met at Guideacres for a tea party to celebrate this and the Queen’s Jubilee.
There were cucumber sandwiches, cake, cream teas, strawberries and cream and a host of far more food than we could manage to eat.
After a find the corgi wide game (well it was a guiding event!) everyone spent a very enjoyable few hours chatting and catching up with friends old and new.
