County Training Day 2024

Leaders from across the county gathered in Billericay for our annual training day.  Our excellent training team organised training on completing risk assessments, adapting programme activities and ‘Doing Our Best’.  Many of these are needed to gain our leadership qualification, but other leaders attended in order to refresh their skills.

In the afternoon, the sessions took on the lighter side of guiding as participants took part in fun activities.  These included yoga, campfire songs, whittling, cooking marshmallows and a variety of crafts.

It was lovely to be able to get together and make new friends and catch up with old friends who we may not have seen for a while.
