Peer Education

Sessions for Brownies, Guides and Rangers run by 14- 25 year old members.

Peer Educators are Girlguiding members aged 14-25, who are trained to run sessions where girls can discuss the topics that matter to them. As ‘peers’ they can support girls to explore challenging subjects, because they understand what it is like to be a girl today. They create a safe space, and act as a relatable role model, to enable girls to learn skills that will help them navigate life as a young woman.
Peer Education sessions are fun, engaging and can be tailored to suit any Brownie, Guide or Ranger unit. The activities are specially designed by a team of experts and give girls practical tools to boost body image, challenge gender stereotypes and care for their mental health.
If you are a leader who is interested in having a Peer Educator come to your unit, or if you are aged 14-25 and would like to become a Peer Educator, please email esepeereducation@gmail.com for more information.
